Quality Control
All raw materials that arrive at Shacham Givat Ada are subjected to control procedures
including measuring the percentages of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, checking the
organic content, percentages of ash and the moisture content.

Over and above all this, finished products are meticulously inspected. The laboratory is
situated near the packing facility, and its staff follows up on the entire production
process. A sample is taken from each delivery and it is put through an exhaustive quality
check. In this way, the high quality is maintained which is synonymous with the name Shacham Givat Ada.

Quality of the environment
Because of its acute awareness of the quality of the environment, a system for filtering odors was introduced at Shacham Givat Ada using a bio filter that neutralizes odors given off during the pellets drying process. In addition, dust filters were installed at the plant. Shacham Givat Ada continues to be a pioneer in this field as well as in the protection of the environment. In recent years a system has been installed to collect all the run off water in the area of the plant, and a system to treat the water for use in crop irrigation is at present being implemented.
The work areas at Shacham Givat Ada have been surrounded by a fogger (the latest American technology) that neutralizes odors.
